Partner Dogs Canada breeds, raises, and trains dogs for service and therapy work, with a focus on temperament, health, and lifelong partnership. These dogs, many of which are Golden Retrievers, are trained from a young age to bring comfort, connection, and care to those who need it most. We provide Service dogs to medically qualified individuals at no cost. We believe that the work these dogs do is life-changing and should be easily accessible to those who need their support the most.
Our mission is to provide fully trained service dogs, at no cost, to medically qualified individuals.
Our dogs provide companionship for individuals with disabilities, but they are more than companions — they’re partners in independence, connection, and healing. We aim to provide highly trained, temperament-tested Service dogs and Therapy dogs to individuals in need, while building a compassionate community of foster families, volunteers, and supporters who make it all possible.
Who We Are
A small but dedicated team breeding and training Golden Retrievers to become Service or Therapy dogs for individuals and communities in need.
Service Dogs: We breed and train dogs for individualized disability-related tasks and pair them with medically qualified recipients.
Therapy dogs: We train suitable family companions and handlers for community-based therapy visits.
